HIIT Workout Friday!!!

So grab your Energy and Bring It! 


 Hey everybody! It's that time again! Today's HIIT is pretty intense because I added the evil burpee to the mix. So, lets go over the guideline again...

  • Due to the high intensity of the workout your body will continue to burn fat and calories up to 48 hours afterwards so HIIT should not be done back to back, but rather every two to three days. Since I only give you one HIIT a week, these same exercises can be done every two days if you like for that week until next round...
  • Do as many rounds as possible within 20 minutes 
  • Take 10-15 second rests between sets
  • Do the best you can and be careful, especially if you have never done HIIT before. No modified versions for this exercise. 
  • If you are pregnant, or have any medical condition whatsoever, please consult your Dr. before doing HIIT...

I love HIIT because it's quick, intense, effective, and no fuss. You can do it anywhere with no equipment. However, please let me know in the comments below if you would like to see a mixture of other workouts, such as strength training, and low impact workouts as well...

1. Knee ups/running - 30 sec
2. Plie hops- 12 reps
3. Burpees- 12 reps
4. Plyo lunge- 12 reps
5. Shoulder tap plank- 20-30 sec
